Canned
Students are gathering
canned and non perishable food items for Northwest Harvest and the Kids for
Cans program this holiday season. Last
year EVI raised the most food out of many area schools and we have the same goal
for this year. Please support our
community with your donation of canned food items four our area citizens.
Parent Teacher Conferences/Book Fair Success
The
EVI staff would like to thank all parents and families for attending our fall
conferences. The opportunity to share
valuable information with our families regarding student accomplishments,
goals, and areas of improvement is highly appreciated and helps to continue the
success of EVI Jaguars. Our PTA is also
commended on a very successful Book Fair.
They report a profit of approximately $7000 which will add to the budget
for our new playground equipment. Thanks
for your support of our conferences and the Book Fair!

Community Service Project
Our
5th grade students demonstrated compassion and giving this fall as
they worked on their annual community service project. In preparation the students listened to
presentations by different non profit charities and then selected their
organization to support. The students
raised money by selling cookies and punch at Open House and donated $447.00 to Children’s Wishes and
